Ipamorelin 5mg
Ipamorelin functions by attaching to the ghrelin receptor in the brain, which activates the pituitary gland’s production of growth hormone. Ghrelin also affects food intake and fat deposition.
Pharmacological profiling using growth hormone-releasing peptide (GHRP) and growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) antagonists has shown that Ipamorelin stimulates GH release via a GH-like receptor. Its selectivity for GH is similar to that displayed by GHRH.
Studies indicate that Ipamorelin elicits notable enhancements in insulin secretion from both normal and diabetic rats' pancreases. Ipamorelin triggers insulin release via pathways involving calcium channels and adrenergic receptors. [R]
Ipamorelin counteracted the decrease in muscle strength and bone formation found in GC-injected rats. [R]
Alchemi sells Ipamorelin for laboratory research use only.
