CJC-1295 is a synthetically modified form of GHRH (Growth-hormone-releasing hormone). This peptide hormone has the potential to activate GHRH, thereby enhancing the secretion of growth hormones from the pituitary gland.

CJC-1295 binds to endogenous albumin and stimulates the release of GH and IGF-1.
